Venum the brand

Started by Franck Dupuis in partnership with Jean-François Bandet in 2006, Venum is dedicated to producing equipment for contact sport training and to be worn during fights. This includes apparel, punching bags, jump ropes, protective gear, gloves and more. The focus is on MMA related products but the brand has other kinds too.

The brand was started on the basis that there was a general lack in the market as far as quality and original designs went, this is something Venum wanted to cater for.

Since 2014 on Franck Dupuis is the sole shareholder and chairman of the brand. 2021 on Venum will be the official outfitting partner of the UFC. 

Venum boxing gloves

Venum has over a 100 different kinds of boxing gloves and over two dozen pro boxing gloves. Their collection is made from premium polyurethane, a faux leather. The padding is high-density foam for top-quality shock absorption. The palm area is reinforced and the thumb is attached so there is a lesser overall chance of injury. 

To fasten their boxing gloves Venum has gone for the large velcro band which makes it a lot easier to open and close. 

The designs of Venum boxing gloves is very cool, it has lots of graphic elements from the brand including the logo and text. The colours are varied with options that are black on black, gold on black, greys, variations of white & blue, yellows and more.

Venum boxing gloves are good quality products. Original Venum boxing gloves are available for a mid-range price.

Venum also has gloves for other contact sports such as muay thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu or karate.
