Design & Build

Y19's glass display comes with a pre-applied screen protector and the back is made out of plastic. Despite being curated out of plastic, Vivo Y19 looks and feels premium in the hand. The plastic back gives a glass-like luminosity akin to Vivo S1 Pro. Phone's display is a Full HD 6.53 inches IPS LCD touchscreen with a pixel density of 394 ppi. Y19's display colours are accurate, sharp and crisp due to the high pixel density. 

Cameras 

Rivalling companies are offering quad-camera setups in this price range. Y19 instead offers a trio of cameras on the rear but includes all three essentials; Wide, ultrawide and macro lenses. The colour accuracy and dynamic range are great but due to the low pixel count, the pictures are soft and grainy in all lighting conditions. Same is the case with the front selfie camera. 

Performance & Battery

The main selling feature of the phone is its massive battery. Vivo Y 19 uses 5000 mAH capacity that supports fast charging as well as reverse wireless charging. The phone works great in day to day usage without any glitches and lags. Gaming is easy and fast on this device. Playing PUBG on Vivo Y19 automatically takes it to the highest settings level which is a pleasant surprise for a phone in this price range. However, the game Call of Duty goes to lowest settings by default and there is no option of increasing these levels.
