Build & Design

The build quality of Mi Max 3 is grand and the mobile looks premium at the very first glance. The huge 6.9-inch screen adds to the glamour and beauty of the phone and delivers an immersive viewing experience. Overall the design looks good and despite the weight, the mobile is sleek and thin. The only downsides to the design are the lack of IP rating and wireless charging. 

Performance & Cameras

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 adorns a dual-camera setup on the rear. The 12 MP main camera takes nice pictures but the quality is not that great as it should be for the price. On the positive side, the rear cameras are fully capable and come with multiple shooting modes. You can also shoot 4K 30fps videos without stabilization.

The selfie camera is a single 8 MP shooter with mediocre results. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is integrated with Android 8 and Snapdragon 636, both in combination offer a medium level performance. The 5500 mAh battery gives excellent mileage and will last almost a full day of moderate use.

Gaming Prowess

Max 3 is a great phone for playing medium to low-intensity games. When it comes to high graphic games like Infinity Ops and Modern Combat 5, the phone lags a bit and also gives a glitchy performance. For users who are no much into gaming, this phone may be good enough for messaging, browsing, listening to music or watching videos.
