The zero makeup palette is divided into two sections; a quad of zero makeup products in a compact mirrored palette and the bottom part containing a setting powder. 

How to Use Zero Makeup by Nabila

Encased in a sleek plastic case, the palette has 4 small square-shaped compartments with the top two being the concealer and foundation and the bottom two for blush and lipstick. Matching the skin tones of Pakistani complexions, the palette was launched in 7 shades including Porcelain, Pearl, Ivory, Creme, Honey, Caramel and Mocha.

Concealer

The first step is to apply concealer. Zero makeup palette comes with an orange-hued concealer which is great for hiding light to moderate level under-eye circles. It fails to camouflage deep dark circles and starts looking cakey if applied in large amounts. This concealer can also be applied to hide other imperfections on the skin like acne marks, spots or discolourations.

Blender/Foundation

The second step is applying the foundation from the palette. Find the foundation shade that matches your skin and then choose the closest palette. The Zero makeup foundation is creamy hence glides on the skin. It has a sheer to medium coverage and does a good job at enhancing the complexion and blending out the harsh concealer lines. 

Blush

Zero Makeup by Nabila comes with a lovely cream blush that instantly warms up your face without drying it. Dab on with your fingertips on the apple of your cheeks after applying the foundation. The cheek stain will stay on for a long time and if you want longer wearability, you can top it with your favourite powder blush. But doing so will take away the dewiness of the makeup. 

Lip Stain

Then comes the lip stain which is to be applied with your fingertips in a slight dabbing motion. Though the shade is lovely, it looks unnatural and a bit too dark for a zero makeup lip colour. Probably that varies from person to person as everyone has a different natural lip colour and texture. For more natural-looking lips you can use your favourite go-to lip colour and skip the one that's in the palette. 

Setting Powder

The final step is to set your zero makeup with the included setting powder. Use a little amount to prevent the makeup from looking cakey or dry, taking special care around the eyes and mouth area. If you have super dry skin you can skip this step and just spritz on your regular makeup setting spray.
