Hemani Tea Tree Oil

Hemani is a brand based in Pakistan, it was started in 1949 and is all about personal care. It has products such as oils, facial scrubs, teas, lotions and a lot more. Among the many various oils, one can find under the Hemani label; there is also teat tree oil.

Hemani Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is extracted from the tea tree, it is also known as melaleuca oil. Hemani has this oil available in bottles, it has a camphoraceous smell that can also be called a fresh smell. 

One can use tea tree oil from Hemani for application on hair or skin. People use it to treat dandruff, acne, lice, herpes, insect bites, scabies, and skin fungal or bacterial infections. This is a holistic approach and there is not much scientific research that it works, but there are many anecdotal claims.

If left open, Hemani tea tree oil will get exposed to the air and oxidize. Once this happens it is generally not recommended to use the oil; in an oxidized state, there are also more chances of an allergic reaction. This oil can also be dangerous if consumed, it causes cause confusion, hallucinations, diarrhoea, coma, unsteadiness, vomiting, weakness, blood cell abnormalities, drowsiness and severe rashes.

Tea tree oil must be kept away from pets and kids, most cases of poisoning have involved one of these two.
