Home Style French Fries 

The OPA Fries are a packaged frozen food product brand by the company called Fauji Fresh n Freeze established in Pakistan. The Opa! Fries are par-fried which means that the potatoes used to make the french fries are soft and fluffy on the inside. The process of making the frozen french fries at home involves frying the potatoes with a two-step process. Using a thermometer, consumers will heat oil in a pan until it reaches 300 degrees F adding the frozen french fries to cook. The first step is cooking the potatoes until they are tender and then continue the frying process to achieve the second step when they are crisp and golden. 

In the factory to ensure home cooking is instantly and easy the organic potatoes are blanched in hot water and then fried in vegetable oil before frozen for market selling. The recommended temperature to freeze the Opa Fries is minus 18. Cooking time is 3 to 4 minutes and instructions suggest to not fry the product for more than 5 minutes. For a healthier alternative to deep-frying, there are baking recipes that can be used to prepare the frozen fries. Using a baking tray the fries can be oven bakes with a spray of oil o top. 

Flavours 

There are various flavours, seasonings and styles in the Opa Fries range that include Original, Crinkle, Chunky and Super Chunky. A single serving of Opa fries will have about 200 calories (medium portion) making it easy to store and use accordingly. 

The Crinkle style has a corrugated design for each piece that gives it a unique bite. The Chunky and Super Chunky are thick wedges style fries great as sides to steaks and burgers. The packaging sizes are 400mg and 1Kg that are ideal for family sharing. Extra salt and pepper can be added to the chips and serves with ketchup.
