Jaguar Vision

Created by Amandine Clerc-Marie for the Jaguar range, Vision was inspired by a car from the same year as its release in 2010; the Jaguar XJ. A more light kind of cologne that is apt for daily wear as it is not too heavy and overpowering.

The top notes consist of pineapple, cardamom, Amalfi lemon and grapefruit. This has a slight resinous sweetness and spice from cardamom to balance the citrus and fruit tones. At the heart, one finds red apple, cedar and patchouli; bringing in wood tones, an earthy green spice with some more fruit.

The base notes are made up of tonka bean, amber and musk. A slightly more spicy and warm space for all the upper notes to exist in. 

The combination of these notes brings out a great aromatic scent with strong wooden notes to go with it. The spice, citrus and tropical aspects balance out the rest.

Comments

The staying power is in a moderate range as is the sillage, but this is understandable as Jaguar Vision is in an affordable price range. This also makes it a great cologne for daily wear as it is not expensive, meaning one can apply it in larger quantities too.

Aside from the original, there are also a few others in this line with their own set of tones, but with a similar overall theme.
