Nokia is being expanded by HMD Global running the mobile production for them with upgrades on their new lines from the past few years. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is one such smartphone launched in May 2018 with great design and internal specs too. Available in 3 different colours for you to choose which suits your persona wether it is Night black, Glacier white or Baltic sea blue. A phone that is in an accessible price range but has more than enough functions to be worth that kind of money and would last a good while if used with care.

Features of the Nokia 5.1 Plus

Incorporating a screen that is 5.9 inches with 720 x 1520 pixels based on IPS LED tech that is ready for capacitive touch. Using Gorilla Glass so the screen is sturdy and can survive being dropped or other inflictions which can happen easily as smartphones are always in use. The cameras are also quite decent for the range, the rear camera is a dual 13 MP (f/2.0, PDAF) + 5 MP (depth sensor) and a selfie camera at 8MPs f/2.2. Powered by 3GB of RAM and running on a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset which is a new contender in the market, with 32GB of internal storage. A dedicated slot for an SDcard so you can expand the memory as well for not too much of a cost if you need that extra room for music, pictures or videos. Nokia 5.1 Plus's SIM card slot is a nano slot where one SIM card will remain active while other will stay on stand by for as long as you want that SIM to stay on hold or stand by.

Launching under Android One program, the Android version used in this phone is Android Oreo which is upgradable to Android Pie, along with an octa-core processor with a clock speed 2.0GHz which is quite fast a speed for this kind of device. Equipped with a 3060mAh battery that will give you a claimed talk time of 19 hours and 53 hours of playing music. For another layer of security, it also has a fingerprint sensor on the back, given all of this the Nokia 5.1 Plus is a good buy for its price. There are a few variations in RAM and storage space available so the price can vary based on that.
