Paco Rabanne Black Xs

Paco Rabanne is a brand based in Paris, it was established in 1966 by Francisco "Paco" Rabaneda Cuervo who is better known as Paco Rabanne. An architect by training who got into clothing design and became known for his eclectic fashion sense and use of materials such as metal and paper.

The fashion house also produces fragrances in tie with Puig, with the best-known lines being Collection Million, Invictus and XS. The XS line has iterations that have been created over time as well as a separate line known as Black XS which is for a deeper feel.

Overall the Black XS line is all about the richer, musky and oriental scents. This gives them a more opulent feel and is something that a lot of people are very taken by.

The original was a men's cologne launched in 2005, it is an amber and woody fragrance. The women's perfume was launched in 2007 and is a woody floral musk. Almost all the other versions are along a similar oriental base of amber, wood notes, leather and musk. The other layers contain aromatics, fruits and spices to balance out the depth with a lightness on top.

Generally, for the women's versions, the secondary tones are floral and for men, it is mostly woodiness. With some men's versions, there are also spice and aromatics.

Paco Rabanne Black XS is a great line for people who like scents like this that are deeper, with rich tones of warm notes.

As with most other Paco Rabanne fragrances, the Black XS line also has a high level of sillage and staying power too. The price of fragrances from this line is toward the mid-range.
