Design Philosophy

Pakistan is home to rich textiles of the east and ancient craftsmanship of embroideries in various techniques. The cultural diversity of the country requires fashion that understands what women want in their everyday wear without compromising on design or quality of the fabric. The Warda collection offers its clients the best of the traditional eastern aesthetic in single shirts, 2-piece and 3 piece suits. They understand that women regardless of which age bracket want to be able to customise their clothing according to the occasion, work and personal lifestyle. The unstitched collection has printed designs, fabrics with the traditional Chikan Kari embellishment technique and other popular embroideries like silk threadwork, colourful cotton threadwork and gold threadwork on different combinations of suits.  

The retail store for Warda collection was established in 2006, it stocked casual unstitched fabric and formal wear in both printed and embroidered variety. Over the years, they have expanded their collection to pret and separates category for trousers that can be matched with both single and 2-piece shirt with dupatta combination suits. Ladies can choose from the formal and casual ready to wear and unstitched collections along with a large collection of accessories of handbags and jewellery. The fabric used depends on the season as Warda changes the base fabric of designs accordingly.

Fabric Selection

The popular collection is the lawn and cotton that is released during the summer and mid-season as it has a breathable quality that keeps women feeling cool and fresh even during scorching hot temperatures. The voile, chiffon and silk collection are for more semi-formal and formal wear designs that are bought all year round and paired with warm stoles and trousers to make them transformable for every season. The winter season has khaddar, viscose, karandi, linen, wool and dyed yarn in loose fabric and pret as these retain body heat well as compared to summer fabrics. 

Sizes

Warda designs can be worn regularly as the cloth is durable and closely weaved to be used extensively for home and daily usage. The collection has inclusive sizes that range from small to extra large keeping in mind that Pakistan has all kinds of body shapes in women. The loose fabric can be bought by meter making it easy to cater to women who are larger than the standard extra-large size.
