Yaaram Novel

Synopsis

A Pakistani girl Amarha is made to believe by her family that she is cursed and ill-omened as many unfortunate events unfold after her birth. To escape her family's abusive behaviour, Amarha applies for a scholarship at Manchester University and gets accepted. There she meets a British Muslim boy Aliyan who is quite popular in the university. He too is a broken soul and carries emotional baggage. Amarha and Aliyan meet and from then on, their fates take a positive turn and the journey towards happiness and unconditional love begins. 

Writing Style

The way Sumaira describes the beauty of Manchester city is so captivating and instantly transports the readers to the streets of Manchester. Sumaira also tells each character's back story which makes Yaaram Novel even more interesting and engaging. Amarha also makes friends from various backgrounds and religions that become her confidantes and the family she never had. They share a loving bond and exchange lots of mischievous banter amongst them which makes Yaaram fun to read.
