Bio Oil

A specialised moisturising oil that helps improve scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tones. The formula is a combination of plant extracts and vitamins that are mixed into an oil base, with a special ingredient known as PurCellin Oil. This ingredient changes the consistency, making it lighter and thus making it easier for the body to absorb all the nutrients as it is no longer as greasy. Bio Oil has won over a 126 skincare awards since it was launched in 2002.

The main ingredients include rosemary oil, calendula oil, lavender oil, chamomile oil, vitamin A and vitamin E. These oils and vitamins all have various qualities that help with soothing the skin. Keeping the skin moisturised, thus making the overall tone, elasticity and texture better. All those things affect how scars and blemishes can be improved upon.

Usage

One is to apply a few drops of Bio Oil onto their body or first onto their hand and massage it in for 30 seconds. The oil should be absorbed into the skin. Apply twice daily for a 3 month period to see what the effects are.

The effects of Bio Oil vary from person to person depending on their personal chemistry. Bio Oil is a nominally priced skincare item, but with a far greater reputation in the market.
