Bearing many similarities with the previously launched Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, the On5 is a good basic phone that comes with an economical price tag. Though it received positive reviews for its display, many complained about the low screen resolution and less internal storage. This is because the rival companies are offering better specs in the same price bracket. Samsung Galaxy On5 features an average build quality with a faux leather textured plastic back. It doesn't have a display glass protection. The 5-inch display is bright and comes with an Outdoor Mode that takes the brightness to another level. On5 also features a 3.5 mm audio jack and good speakers.

Cameras & Battery Mileage

The battery life on Samsung On5 is good and can last almost a day of moderate usage. It offers up to 13 hours of browsing on Wi-Fi, 11 hours on 3G and 12 hours of video playback. For the price, it is a good battery mileage but could've been better. Samsung On5 has a single 8 MP rear camera that delivers good results but the front selfie camera at 5MP is only average.

Performance & Connectivity

Samsung On5 is a great phone for everyday use and will be enough for most users. Though you can play moderate level games on it, this phone is not for heavy gaming or demanding apps. It features a Dual SIM slot and offers connectivity options like Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, 4G/LTE, GPS, Radio but doesn't have NFC. Samsung Galaxy On5 includes accelerometer, proximity and orientation sensors.
