Samsung has classified its tabs based on their uses, type of operating system installed, input and output technology and their size. Currently, Samsung tablets include slates, mini tabs, phablet, 2-in-1s, gaming tabs, booklets and customized business tabs. The Galaxy Tab category has several series of tablets such as the Galaxy Tab 1 all through 4, the Premium line called the Tab Pro and the S, A and E series.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 (2019)

Launched in August 2019, the S6 comes with Dex integration and is one of the most expensive tabs available in Pakistan. Price aside, the tab is packed with all the goodness you can think of in a tablet, though a few things could use some improvements. The display is S-AMOLED and beautiful at 10.5-inch with 2560x1600 resolution. The tab uses a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor that enables you to watch videos and play games without any lags and glitches. RAM is up to 6GB/8GB but the storage could have been better with this one as it is the same old 128/256 GB that can be expandable up to 512 GB. S6 receives a huge 7,040 mAh battery that will last all day long despite heavy usage and supports fast charging. The cameras could have been better with the dual rear setup of one 13 MP wide and a 5 MP ultra-wide shooter and a front 8MP camera. Samsung included an S Pen integration in the S6 so you won't have to get a separate stylus like Apple iPad users as the Apple Pencil is sold separately.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)

If you are an entry-level user, Tab A 8.0 will be more suitable for you as well as being easy on the pocket when compared to the newer tabs. This slate sports an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Running on Android 7.1 Nougat the tab A 8.0 packs in a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage aren't huge but good enough for an entry-level tab.  Cameras are decent with the rear being an 8-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The 5,000 mAh battery is good for a day's use.

Key Components of All Samsung Tablets

The key component on Samsung tablets is the touch screen display that allows the user to navigate easily by simply tapping on the touchscreen LCD. It also features a multi-touch function that lets the user trigger actions by touching the screen at multiple places. Since the mid-2010s Samsung has been releasing tabs that use the ARM processor for longer battery life. The ARM-powered tabs feature handwriting recognition support and include a stylus. These Samsung tablets feature a High Definition antiglare display, longer battery life, lower weight, internet connectivity, wireless local area connectivity, Bluetooth for connecting peripheral devices, charging ports and wired devices connecting ports.
