A wing under the Western Digitial company that is made to cater for flash memory products such as memory cards and readers, solid-state drives and USB flash drives. It was bought by Western Digital in 2016.

Founded in 1988 by Eli Harari, Sanjay Mehrotra, and Jack Yuan, SanDisk was the first brand that produced an SSD Hard Drive. Eli Harari is also the man responsible for developing the Free Floating EEPROM which proved the reliability of semiconductor-based data storage for practical use.
