Seagate is the brand that created the modern HDD. Over time the brand has also incorporated SSDs and is one of the known brands in this segment of components. Their hard drives are used by many computer companies for laptops and PCs. 

Aside from this Seagate has options for external hard drives as well. There are various lines, of which Barracuda is one.

LaCie, another hard drive manufacturer, is also owned by Seagate.

Seagate Barracuda

The Seagate Barracuda line is the portable range of backup devices and PC upgrade drives. The internal HDD comes in storage spaces such as 14TB; for an average user that would be a lot more than they will ever need. The SSD versions have lesser space but some also feature the M.2 NVMe protocols for super transfer speeds. The external portable version is very sleek SSD with 500GB, 1TB or 2TB as the storage options.

Seagate is one of the two main brands in the hard drive segment, with Western Digital being the other. The quality of Seagate Barracuda drives is high, with a sleek design profile as well; adding to the look of your workplace or gaming station.

The price of Seagate Barracuda drives is affordable to high, with the SSDs costing more as that is a faster technology for higher transfer rates. The more the space the higher the cost.
