Everyday is a milk powder that is commonly used as a tea and coffee as a whitener or creamer. It is a brand of Nestle and is used as a substitute for fresh milk. One teaspoon of everyday milk has 22 calories as compared to sugar having 16 and 2 calories per teaspoon of fresh milk. Unfortunately, the Everyday Milk does not have the same energizing nutrients, essential minerals and vitamins like raw milk as it is made through a process called spray drying. While creating the milk powder the more sensitive nutrients like magnesium, calcium, zinc, potassium, vitamins A, D, E and K do not survive. The original fat and cholesterol present in the milk will oxidize retaining only the cholesterol adding soy lecithin to emulsify the formula as it is a protein agent.

Taste

Everyday is pre-sweetened creamer that dissolves entirely into the tea. The result is a thicker and richer cup of tea. The taste enhances the flavour of the tea and can be used whenever needed without any preparation like milk which requires to be heated. Another benefit of the Everyday powder is that it does not change the temperature of the tea ensuring it stays warmer for longer, unlike room temperature or cold milk that instantly ruins the hot temperature of the tea. 

Packaging Size 

Everyday is available bags of 200g, 400g and 1kg making it east to buy according to personal requirement. It has110 serving of tea in 1kg packaging bag. Powdered milk can be stored indefinitely as an unopened bag has a shelf life of 2 to 10 years after the date of manufacturing. Once opened it is best to store the powder in a sealed jar to keep it fresh for longer. Instructions for proper storage are to transfer the powder into an airtight container to avoid clumping and lumping which makes it hard to scope out the powder. Ideally, it should be stored in a cool, dry and hygienic area of the kitchen or room.

Ingredients

The ingredients used to make Everyday are Milk Solids, Vegetable Fat, Sugar, Stabilisers, Emulsifier, Salt and Soya Lecithin. Nestle uses milk collected from free-range cattle that only feed on organic nutrients. To preserve healthy nutrients the formula is carefully made using international standards. This milk product is not a safe substitute for mother’s milk. It is also available in a liquid creamer version for those who do not want to use powder.
