Xiaomi Mi Band 2

The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is a budget fitness tracker and a minimalistic gadget that can also be used to make calls and messages. It is rated IP67 which means that it is dust and waterproof and swimmers can easily wear it without the fear of causing water damage to their watch. If the device gets dirty, you can easily wash it under running tap water and going out in the rain while wearing this won't do any harm. 

Design 

The front display of Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is constructed out of Makrolon polycarbonate which is a shatterproof glass-like thin plastic. Band 2's casing is made out of TPSiV Thermoplastic copolyester that prevents tackiness during long wearing of the device. It is a silicone-based soft material specially designed for electronic wearables. It doesn't easily wear out and also provides protection against sweat and sebum. Xiaomi Mi Band 2 strap is made out of thermoplastic elastomer and the clasp material is plastic. The band doesn't feel like some cheap rubber on your wrist, in fact, it feels soft and supple and is comfortable to wear.

Display & Battery

Band 2 has an 0.42 inch OLED touchscreen display that indicates your heartbeat, time, alerts etc. Mi Band 2 comes with a USB charger and its battery can last up to 20 days on a single charge. The charger is lightweight and compact that can easily be carried around and fits in your bag or pocket.

Connectivity

You need to sync the tracker with your smartphone for it to function. Xiaomi Mi Band 2 app called the Mi Fit can be downloaded on your Windows or Android smartphone. Band 2 is connected to the smartphone through Bluetooth and displays the time as well as all your activity, heart rate, sleep pattern etc.
