The processor is an Intel Core i9 which is a powerful chip that can take on a lot of tasks with ease. With an NVIDIA Quadro T2000 which has 4GB of its own RAM so it does not load the main RAM too much. The RAM that aids the main processor is at 64GB, a high range spec that is able to execute a lot of tasks.

Storage is the SSD variant and can go from 1TB to 4TB. This is keeping in mind that people who are using CAD or have other such heavy usage, have bigger files and need the space.

The display is 15.6 inches which is a decent size and is midways, this is not too small but small enough to be portable with ease. Another feature adding to ease is the backlit keyboard, this makes it easier to use in low light situations.

For the OS Dell has given the Precision 5540 Windows 10 Pro which also features AI. The AI along with Intel Adaptix adjusts the performance to tune it better to users.

There is ample porting and also wireless connectivity so one can make use of external devices. Speakers are set along the sides of the keyboard and feature intelligent audio that tunes them based on the noise and also manages your vocals for vidoe calls that make use of the webcam as well.

The battery is not as long-lasting as this machine uses more but one gets a little above 6 hours which is a decent time.
