Dunhill is known for being a male-centric brand. The Desire line of fragrances is based around the aquatic feel, is by far one of the most successful, it is known all over the world around the time of its release. This edition was launched in 2015 and has been given a more effervescent edge with the citrus opening. The top layers are bergamot and mandarin orange; both of which add a lot of freshness to the start of what one smells.

The heart layer is where one finds the water notes so intrinsic to the Desire line of colognes. Aside from this, there is violet leaf and cardamom. The violet leaf adds another semi-aquatic tone with its cucumber-like smell and cardamom has a resinous expanse to it which is similar to a water feel. To ground the top and heard, the base is made from birch, vetiver and amber.

A base layer with this gives it the much-needed muskiness and wood notes. Combine all these three-note regions and you get a refined scent that is fresh and rooted still.
