Huawei has made a smartphone that is in a mid-range budget but is powerful, the Nova 71. With the HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor sitting at the middle of its power. Made using the 7nm method, this processor has two Cortex-A76 cores that clock a speed of 2.27GHz and six cores that are Cortex-A55 which clock speed at 1.88GHz. This is combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage can be extended using a NanoSD card, adding up to 256GB more. The internal storage accrues to the UFS 2.1 standard which makes it a faster storage system, increasing the overall performance of this phone. For graphics, an integrated Mali-G52 MP6 handles the processing. These specs allow users to easily enjoy their gaming, it can even handle the 3D games.

For the OS Huawei has made use of the Android system, with version 10 as the base. On top of that, the brand has layered their EMUI 10, this allows for some extra customisations that simple Android does not. Android 9 and on are machine learning ready, meaning they can learn the user's patter to pace up performance in reflection.

Display

At 6.4 inches, the display has a resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels. This brings the pixels per inch to 398. The display is based on LTPS IPS LCD technology and has Corning Gorilla Glass for protection in case of drops.

Cameras

Another powerful feature of the Huawei Nova 7i is its cameras. The main camera system is a quad sensor set up. The primary is a 48MP wide shooter with an aperture of f/1.8, the second sensor is an 8MP ultrawide shooter which has an aperture of f/2.4; with the third at 2MP as a dedicated macro shooter and the last is a 2MP sensor for adding depth. On the front the selfie camera is at 16MP, it shoots slightly wide and has an aperture of f/2.0. 

The camera app is good and has multiple features such as Panorama, HDR, Face Detection and more. The video can be shot at 1080p at  30fps for both cameras and the main camera can also shoot at 2160p at the same 30fps.

Connectivity, sensors and battery

The connectivity gamut is complete, with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB port which is a Type-C. The USB port also has USB On-The-Go abilities so the smartphone can function as a reader for thumb drives. For sensors, Huawei has included an accelerometer, a compass, proximity, a G sensor and a fingerprint reader in the Nova 7i that is mounted on the side. The Dual-SIM feature that is now common is also part of this device. Also retaining the 3.5mm audio jack.

A Li-Polymer cell based battery powers this smartphone, it has a capacity of 4200mAh. An ample amount of power for one's day to go by.
