Rasasi was started in 1979, in Dubai; it is still a family run business that has a presence in many countries now. There is a very wide range of scents that one can choose from.

With two iterations, one for men and the other for women this fragrance line is right for people who like woody notes as the space for other tones to be emitted from.

Rasasi Shuhrah Pour Femme is the perfume, it has sage and lemon as the opening top notes. The middle is home to lily of the valley, jasmine and iris. This makes for floral heart notes that are sweeter and add to the feminine vibe. At the base there is patchouli, musk, oud and ambergris. This brings in some warmth, a sense of sea and a hint of earthy spice as well.

Overall the perfume has a chypre and floral quality to it, which is similar to a dry kind of wood with floral notes. The citrus at the top gives it a nice and clean open. 

The men's version, Rasasi Shuhrah Pour Homme, is also along a woody tone with aromatics to compliment it. The top notes consist of tomato leaf, freesia and rose. These notes make for a strong green and soft floral opening to this fragrance. The heard notes include sandalwood, jasmine and cedar. This is a sweet-spicy heart with strong woods notes. The base is deeper with leather, oud, amber, musk and oakmoss. 

With these notes for the base, a very warm space is created with wooden green as well as wood tones from oud. The men's version has more of a 'tones from the Orient' feel to it

The longevity of Rasasi Shuhrah is at a high level and the sillage is moderate. This goes for the cologne and perfume too.

The price of these fragrances is at an affordable level, this makes for a high-value purchase as the longevity is high and the fragrances are well mixed too.
